1. Seattle

Seattle is home to the greatest rock and grunge movement in the 90s. The big 4 grunge bands of the 90s - Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam - all came out of this city to reach across the world with their talent and music. It also sparked the 'Riot Grrl' movement where all-female underground bands combined punk music, politics and feminism to address issues such as racism, sexuality and female empowerment.

If you are going to tour London, remember to check out the residences of Jimi Hendrix and George Frederic Handel on Brook Street, as well as Heddon and Berwick street which were places where David Bowie and Oasis used as inspiration for their music.
